    Welcome the the Title IV-E ICWA social work elective. This course was developed to provide an opportunity to develop a deeper base of knowledge about the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and how you as child welfare social workers can apply this knowledge. Using Moodle, you will have access to a variety of information about the laws and policies aimed at protecting Native American children and custody issues pertaining to their unique needs and goals. To accomplish this, we as your instructors will provide you with a variety of information focused on increasing your understanding of ICWA.
